For our investors (Canadian high net worth individuals, family offices and smaller institutional investors), we are a turnkey private equity investment solution that provides indirect equity ownership of a diversified portfolio of North American private companies, using top performing fund managers. We find and access the best funds. We do the heavy lifting around portfolio construction to help investors stay fully invested in an asset class and targeted strategy that can generate compelling returns.
For the underlying funds that we invest in, we are an institutional investor that brings a capital commitment to the table, along with access to our growing LP base of successful Canadian business owners, operators and investors. We seek to establish long-term relationships with select top performing fund managers and increase our commitments over time as Snowline’s perpetual fund grows from investment performance and recycling. We are also flexible, in that although we currently aim to make $3-5M commitments to each underlying fund, we are content to adjust our role in oversubscribed scenarios (i.e. $1-2M toeholds that do not materially impact allocations).

WARREN PLUNKETT
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Warren is the Managing Director and founder of Snowline and is responsible for leading and managing the firm. Warren began his private equity career in 2007 at Export Development Canada, where he helped source, execute and manage private equity fund investments globally for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. In 2015, Warren established and started to build Snowline, with the plan to deliver an institutional-quality investment program tailored for high net worth individuals, family offices, and smaller institutional investors. Warren’s focus on investing in top performing fund managers and connecting with new families/investors is complemented by the fund administration (back office) services and enhancement to governance provided by Horseshoe Fund Services.
JULIE FALLON
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Julie is the CFO of Snowline and leads the treasury, tax and accounting for the funds. For almost 20 years, Julie was the Chief Financial Officer of Celtic House Venture Partners. Through that role she led the financial management of more than $500 million in assets over multi-jurisdictional funds, investments and investors from Canada, US and UK. Prior to Celtic House, Julie worked in management for private technology companies and in assurance services with international accounting firms. A dedicated volunteer, Julie is on the board of directors of The Door Youth Centre, an organization which offers social, recreational and educational services for youth and Dress for Success, an organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence in the workforce.
